Boseman Brothers Talk About Their New Chapter and Remember Brother Chadwick on His 50th Birthday

NASHVILLE, TN, UNITED STATES, September 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Brothers Derrick and Kevin Boseman will step into the spotlight together at the International Black Film Festival (IBFF) in Nashville, sharing their own stories, introducing the vision behind Boseman Family LLC and remembering their brother Chadwick Boseman as the family approaches what would have been his 50th birthday.

For Derrick and Kevin, the weekend is as much about looking forward as it is about remembering where they came from. After years spent largely outside the public spotlight, the brothers are beginning a new chapter through Boseman Family LLC, bringing together their individual experiences in the arts, entertainment, business, ministry and service.

Their story begins in Anderson, South Carolina, where Derrick, Kevin and Chadwick were raised by Leroy and Carolyn Boseman. Their parents encouraged each son to discover his own gifts and pursue a life grounded in creativity, faith, purpose and service. Those roots continue to shape Derrick and Kevin as they develop a company designed to create work of their own, pursue new opportunities and use their experience to open doors for others.

Boseman Family LLC will serve as a platform for the brothers’ work across entertainment, storytelling, thought leadership, mentorship, philanthropy and community engagement. Their appearances at IBFF offer audiences an opportunity to meet Derrick and Kevin on their own terms and hear directly from them about the experiences that shaped them, the projects and opportunities they are pursuing and the future they are building together.

We came from Anderson, South Carolina, and our parents gave three boys permission to discover who God called us to be.
