Claimaro Launches One Platform for TPAs, Self-Funded Employers, and Health Sharing Ministries

MASSILLON, OH, UNITED STATES, September 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Claimaro, a new health plan administration company, has launched a platform that handles claims adjudication, enrollment, payments, and member care in one system for third-party administrators, self-funded employers, and health sharing ministries.

Health plan administration software has long been split along buyer lines. Enrollment platforms handle benefits election but stop before a claim is adjudicated. Claims systems price and pay claims but do not enroll members. Health sharing ministries, which are not insurance and fit neither category cleanly, have typically run on purpose-built tools that stop short of full claims administration. A program that needs all of it assembles several vendors and reconciles between them.

Claimaro combines those functions in one platform: claims intake and adjudication against each plan's design, X12 EDI across the 837, 835, and 834 transaction sets through a clearinghouse, member enrollment and a member portal, provider and community-fund payments with accounting reconciliation, and CRM. Accumulators, deductibles, and out-of-pocket balances update in the same system that processes the claim, so no one is reconciling totals across vendors at the end of the month.

For third-party administrators, the platform runs multiple client groups from one instance, each with its own plan designs, fee schedules, and reporting, with member and claims data segregated between clients. For self-funded employers, including groups using captive arrangements, it administers the plan directly rather than assembling a stack of vendors around a legacy claims system. For health sharing ministries, it handles enrollment, member care, and community-fund payments in the same place sharing requests are processed.

"Self-funded employers are where we are putting the most weight right now," said Visone. "They carry the risk themselves, so they feel every gap between systems directly, in dollars. When the enrollment file and the claims system disagree, that is not an IT problem for them. That is a paid claim for somebody who was not eligible."

The platform operates under a HIPAA business associate agreement. Claimaro publishes its pricing openly on its website and charges no per-claim, per-EOB, or per-835 fees, which is uncommon in a category where most vendors quote privately and bill per transaction.
