He appeared throughout the days of the fair in his signature all-green look: a green suit, green hat, green shoes, and green cane. I'm here to take the boring out of art and bring something raw and fun. I'm bringing something that hasn't been done in contemporary painting and sculpture: loosening the lines, painting outside the lines, working with audacity. It's intense, reckless, and spontaneous, and then suddenly it brings silence and calm to the canvas. I'm uncluttering the space, bringing a sense of calm and a pop of color. The characters I make take on personalities of their own."

Born in Brooklyn in 1988, Mr. Normal is one of the most distinctive emerging voices in contemporary painting. His background spans industrial design, film, and consumer visual culture. His work transforms everyday imperfections into expressions of individuality. His signature figures, with exaggerated eyes, restless lines, and childlike freedom, live in a world where humor meets melancholy and simplicity carries surprising emotional depth.

His debut body of work, Terms and Conditions, takes its title from the most accepted and least read agreement of modern life.
